Why have you decided to learn to code?

From a young age, I was always immensely curious about the technology that surrounded me. I would frequently dismantle calculators and laptops, driven by a relentless curiosity to uncover their inner workings. However, the turning point in my journey occurred when I successfully crafted my very first star-patterned triangle in QBASIC. This accomplishment not only fueled my excitement but also served as the pivotal motivation that set me on the path to pursue a career in technology, and consequently to coding.

Do you think its important to learn to code?

Certainly, learning to code is important as it empowers individuals to create, problem-solve, and have an impact in the world. In addition, it equips individuals with the ability to navigate and contribute to our increasingly technology-driven society.

Do you feel the tech industry is male dominated? How can we encourage more women into the industry?

I believe the tech industry was a bit of male-dominated in the past, but these days, I see more women getting involved into the tech industry which has definitely been an encouragement to all the women out there.
We can encourage more women to start a career in tech by:
1. Education Accessibility and Awareness Programme
2. Supportive Communities
3. Equal Opportunities
4. Safe and Inclusive Workplaces
and many more

Did you struggle being a woman in the tech industry yourself?

Not really, I have always thought that I have been given equal accessibility and rights as that of other employees in the tech industry. Learning and growing with the smart people in the tech industry has always been such a pleasurers journey to me.

Whats the most rewarding and most challenging parts of your tech career so far?

The most rewarding parts would definitely be that it's:
1. Innovative and Creative
2. Problem Solving
3. Continuous Learning
4. Positive Impact on Society

The challenging parts would be:
1. Work-Life Balance
2. Rapid Changes
3. Diversity and Inclusion
