UX Designer for our Product Growth team at Riverty (m/f/d)

Join our team at our location in Amsterdam - flexible working conditions available - full-time

At Riverty, we build human-centric fintech products and experiences that enable trustworthy financial freedom. The Product Growth, Merchant and Partner experiences team provides strategic Design and Research support to our Commercial and B2B Product colleagues.

As a UX Product Growth Designer at Riverty, it’s important to develop a strong understanding of our product landscape and processes across different product stacks. You’ll report to the Design Lead and collaborate closely with the Senior UX Designer on the team. You will also work alongside a cross-disciplinary team of Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts and Key Business Account stakeholders.

Your primary focus will be designing and maintaining accurate, end-to-end user journeys across Riverty’s products for commercial purposes. Ensuring that product flows are clearly documented, easy to understand and aligned with how they function in practice. You will provide clear guidance to stakeholders while ensuring solutions meet both human needs and business objectives.

Your time will be mainly spent:

  • Creating and maintaining accurate end-to-end user journeys to support commercial initiatives

  • Adapting and visualizing changes within the Riverty ecosystem and packaging them for Go-to-market communications

  • Exploring and conceptualizing new feature opportunities

You will succeed in this role if you have the following skills:

  • Proficiency in creating clear journey flows, wireframes, prototypes, and crafted high-fidelity designs using Figma

  • Ability to translate complex product processes into simple, easy-to-understand visual journeys

  • AI-proficiency: Comfortable using AI-powered tools to support research, ideation, documentation, and design workflows. You understand how to leverage AI responsibly to improve efficiency and quality

  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to explain product flows and design decisions

  • Curiosity and a proactive attitude toward exploring new opportunities to integrate into a broader Riverty ecosystem

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Tech, and Commercial teams to align goals and deliverables

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX/Product Design

  • Agility: The ability to adapt to different scenarios, priorities, and stakeholder needs in a fast-moving environment

  • Figma proficiency: A strong foundation in Figma, with a solid understanding of components, auto layout, and Design System best practices

  • Critical thinking: The ability to analyze complex situations, challenge assumptions, and translate business and product requirements into clear, thoughtful design solutions

  • Confidence in your abilities: You facilitate alignment, lead constructive reviews, and drive adoption through clear communication and positive enablement

We would be especially excited if you have any of the following (but we’re also excited if you’re keen to learn with us):

  • Experience working in fintech, financial services products, or within
    e-commerce platforms

  • Experience working with different markets within the EU, as each market has different needs

  • Experience with Market Analysis and UX Research

  • Experience working in a studio environment or as a consultant

If you don’t check all these boxes but still feel you'd be a good fit for the role, we encourage you to apply.

Our hiring process has the following steps:

  • First, get to know a call with one of our recruiters

  • An interview with the Design Lead and Senior UX designer

  • A case study presentation to designers from the Design community

  • A final conversation with other Design team members
