What you will do
- Shape the future of AI at Kiwi.com by designing and developing robust, scalable platforms and intelligent agents that solve real challenges across software engineering, product management, and business operations.
- Drive AI strategy and architecture in a cross-functional environment, partnering with Staff and Principal engineers to align AI initiatives with long-term technical and business goals.
- Experiment with cutting-edge technologies—from large language models to agentic systems—and turn them into high-impact tools like coding agents, support agents or product manager agents.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across engineering, product, data science, and leadership to surface opportunities for automation, augmentation, and smarter tooling.
- Guide adoption and AI literacy across a 250+ engineering organization through mentorship, enablement and building a strong tooling ecosystem.
- Prototype rapidly and iterate fast, turning ideas into testable concepts that demonstrate business value and user impact.
- Own key components of our Tool Hub, integrating AI-powered resources and AI-enabled IDEs to empower teams—while ensuring solutions are well-documented, maintainable, and production-ready.
- Communicate technical direction effectively to both deeply technical peers and non-technical stakeholders—including senior leadership.
What you will need
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex, scalable and reliable systems.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based systems—combined with a passion for innovation in this fast-evolving space.
- Experience and learnings with integrating AI models into production applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end technical initiatives, shaping long-term solutions from concept through execution.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
- Proficiency in driving technology adoption and influencing engineering practices.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior technical leaders in a team-oriented environment.
